FK Vojvodina Preparing for UEFA Conference League

Club Honored to Represent Serbia

Versatile Squad Ready for the Challenge

Novi Sad, Serbia - FK Vojvodina is gearing up for its debut in the UEFA Conference League, the third tier of European club competition. The club is the first Serbian team to participate in the competition, which replaces the UEFA Cup and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.

Vojvodina qualified for the Conference League by finishing fourth in the Serbian SuperLiga last season. The club will face FC Lugano of Switzerland in the first qualifying round, with the first leg scheduled for August 25 and the second leg on September 1.

Vojvodina has assembled a versatile squad for the challenge, with a mix of experienced and young players. The club has also added several new signings, including former Serbia international Marko Poletanović.

"We are honored to be able to represent Serbia in the UEFA Conference League," said Vojvodina coach Slavoljub Đukić. "It is a great opportunity for our club to show what we can do on the European stage."

Đukić believes that Vojvodina has what it takes to make a deep run in the competition. "We have a talented squad that is hungry to succeed," he said. "We know that it will be a challenge, but we are confident that we can surprise some people."

Vojvodina fans are excited for the club's debut in the UEFA Conference League. The club has a long and proud history, and its fans are eager to see the team succeed on the European stage.

"We believe that Vojvodina can go far in the UEFA Conference League," said fan club president Dragan Lukić. "We have a great team and a great coach, and we are confident that we can make history."
